Mysterious Glowing Orbs Spotted Over Northern Michigan Lake Sparks Curiosity

Michigan, July – Every July, our family embarks on a much-anticipated vacation to the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. This year, a fishing trip turned into an unforgettable night when a group of twelve witnessed a seemingly otherworldly phenomenon. While drifting 300 yards offshore on an inland lake at dusk, we encountered something far more mesmerizing than the great catches we hoped for.

As the stars began to adorn the darkening sky near a designated dark sky park, I marveled at the breathtaking view of the Milky Way. Suddenly, above the tree line, around 100 feet, a huge, dull orange orb resembling a fall harvest moon appeared. To our amazement, it was on the opposite side from where the moon crests nightly. My astonishment led me to shout, "Wow guys, look at the moon."

The ‘moon’ was no ordinary celestial body. It vanished, only to return a second later accompanied by an identical orb, perfectly aligned in a straight line—then they vanished again. This mysterious cycling of zero, one, two, and three orbs repeated twice before they disappeared entirely. The entire display lacked any indication of wires, bulbs, or lights. Naturally, our group—and notably my cousins—were freaked out by the inexplicable sight.

Our cousins, en route back home, witnessed the same phenomenon which was eerily covered in the news the next morning, spanning reports across eight counties. Intriguingly, all subsequent media coverage of the event vanished without a trace, adding to the enigma.

A year later, in efforts to understand and perhaps identify this strange occurrence, I stumbled upon an image that nearly mirrored what we saw. However, the orbs had consistent coloration and clear edges, unlike any known earthly entity, implying something celestial.
