My Memorable Sighting from 2011: A Personal Account

"Storm Break Sparks UFO Sighting in South Los Angeles"

South Los Angeles, April 2011 — It was just another routine drive to night classes that turned into an unforgettable experience for a group of community college students. In the late afternoon around 4 PM, following a series of intense storms, the sky began to clear, revealing a picturesque patchwork of clouds and open sky.

As the friends drove southbound on the freeway, they were treated to the rare sight of three low-flying F16 fighter jets in a striking V formation heading North by North-West. "I love fighter jets (who doesn’t??)," one of the students, seated in the back, shared. The thrill of seeing these majestic machines slicing through the post-storm sky was palpable, particularly since such sightings are almost unheard of in this area, usually dominated only by the occasional formation of Osprey or Blackhawk helicopters.

The awe-inspiring sight suddenly took a mysterious turn as the trio of interceptors banked right and traced a path parallel to the freeway, raising questions about their destination—perhaps Downtown LA? It was then that the student, intrigued and turning to look ahead, witnessed an extraordinary phenomenon.

Emerging from the clouds was a radiant golden-orangish glow followed by an enormous, glowing orb accompanied by a smaller orbiting orb. They moved across the clear patch of sky and into another cluster of clouds in what seemed like mere seconds. With his heart racing, the student observed the spectacle for about five seconds. "I had a clear line of sight and watched it cross," he recalls vividly. The F16s, now with after-burners engaged, pursued the mysterious orbs into the clouds, eventually disappearing from the students’ view.

A buddy sitting in the front seat also witnessed the extraordinary event, marking the beginning of their shared fascination with Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).

This remarkable encounter in South Los Angeles continues to spark intrigue and fascination. As skies clear and storms pass, who knows what other mysteries might reveal themselves? Keep looking up—you never know what you might see.
