Chris Mellon Blasts AARO Over Hidden UFO Footage and Calls for UAP Data Disclosure in New DefenseScoop Article

Chris Mellon Criticizes AARO Over UFO Footage Secrecy

Tensions Rise in U.S. Government’s UFO Disclosure Efforts

In a recent article by DefenseScoop, former government official Chris Mellon voiced strong criticism of the U.S. government’s approach to UFO and UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) investigations. Mellon argues that the Department of Defense’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has adopted a restrictive stance, claiming Americans are being kept in the dark about a significant amount of UFO footage and data.

Allegation of Restricted Access to UFO Evidence

Mellon explained that AARO, instead of fostering transparency, appears to believe Americans don’t have a “Need to know.” He suggests that this mindset results in withholding a “wealth” of compelling UFO footage that could shed light on these unexplained phenomena. This secrecy raises concerns about what the government knows and what is being deliberately kept from public view.

Calls for Greater Transparency and Structural Changes

Adding to the urgency, Navy Admiral Tim Gallaudet commented that the current provisions in the Senate NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) related to UFO investigations are insufficient. He emphasized the need for the establishment of a dedicated UAP Disclosure Agency (UAPDA), which could help facilitate genuine transparency and provide the public with clearer answers about UAP encounters.

The Push for Official UAP Disclosure Continues

As discussions around UFO sightings and UAP encounters become more prominent, experts like Mellon and Gallaudet are urging the government to step up its disclosure efforts. With increasing reports of UFO sightings and credible military encounters, the need for a more open and structured approach to UFO investigations remains at the forefront of national security and scientific inquiry.
